Full-service interior design or E-Design?

One of the first questions I'm asked is which service someone needs. The honest answer is that it depends less on the size of your home and more on how involved you want to be. Here's how the two compare.

Full-service interior design

This is our complete service, from the first conversation to the final styling. We plan, draw, source and coordinate, so one team is responsible for how everything looks and works.

It includes space planning, lighting and electrical design, kitchens and bathrooms, joinery and bespoke furniture, sourcing and ordering every piece, and installation and styling at the end.

It suits you if you're renovating, extending or doing up a whole home; there are builders and trades involved; or you simply don't have the time to manage it all yourself.

E-Design

E-Design is a designer's plan for your room, delivered online. You get a mood board, a floor plan and a shopping list with links, then put it together at your own pace.

It works in six steps: a short questionnaire about your taste, a video consultation using your photos and measurements, the design concept (usually within two weeks), one round of revisions, your final design pack, and then you buy and install, with my guidance whenever you need it.

E-Design starts from £900 + VAT per room, and your quote is confirmed after the consultation call.

It suits you if you're decorating or furnishing rather than renovating; you live outside London or abroad; or you enjoy the hunt for pieces but want a professional plan to follow.
