Victor Meus, Founder & Creative Director

Victor Meus is the founder and creative director of STUDIO VM Design, an interior design studio based in London. The studio works on residential and commercial interiors in London and abroad, from single rooms to whole houses, taking each project from the first conversation through to the final styling.

His interest in interiors started early. As a child he was always rearranging the furniture in his bedroom and changing the way it was dressed, curious about how a room could feel different with a few decisions. That curiosity became a career, and it still shapes how he works today.

For Victor, a beautiful room is only finished when it works. Every scheme starts with how the client lives: how they move through the house, where they relax, entertain, work and store things. Layout, joinery and lighting are resolved first, and the materials, colour and furniture are layered on top, so the result is as practical as it is beautiful.

The studio's style is warm and contemporary with a love of mid-century design: natural materials, bespoke joinery, considered lighting and pieces with a story. Above all, Victor believes a home should reflect the people who live in it, whether that means a wall of books, a collection of plants or a bold colour that makes them smile.

Brazilian by background and based in London, Victor works with clients in London and around the world, and is always ready for the next design challenge.
