Balham Twin Nursery

A nursery for twins in Balham, designed for two of everything without the room ever feeling crowded. Shown here in design visualisations.

Each baby has their own cot under its own striped canopy, two little tents that make the room feel like an adventure. Storage was the priority: deep sage cupboards with a wavy relief take clothes and essentials, while scalloped shelves keep favourite toys and books within reach.

The changing chest sits right beside a deep armchair, so changes and night feeds happen in one comfortable corner, lit by soft pleated wall lights rather than the overhead light. Grasscloth and sage keep the room calm for sleep, the giraffe and red artwork keep it fun, and the joinery will work just as well as the children grow.
